Hey! I don’t live in Switzerland anymore, but hop on over to my current blog The Scotch Tapes for my further escapades in the land of shortbread and skirts on men: Scotland.

No idea what this blog is or why you are here? (if you’re looking for the French version, go to Les Franco-Files). Let’s not waste your time, here’s what you need to know:

Who me? Teresa

Blog? Comments on culture (clashes), language (problems) and travel (disasters). Honest, irreverent and (I hope) of interest and amusement to you. It began as a chronicle and critique of my escapades as a one-year exchange student in Switzerland’s University of Lausanne in the academic year 2011-2012. Now that is over, I occasionally update, as I occasionally return to my beloved Suisse.

What can you expect? Expect lots of cultural commentary and love for the brilliance and bizarreness that is Switzerland.

Leave now if: you’re hoping for an embarrassing blog about my personal life, or have an aversion to dry humour.

Enjoy! Please feel free to drop me a line for anything, I always welcome feedback and comments!

  1. Hi Teresa,
I work at Expatica, a news and information site for expats living in Europe.
I recently came across your website and found many interesting articles that would be relevant for our readers. We’d love to feature some of them on our website. Could you email me so that I can send you more details?
